PC Inspector is
an advanced POST card for multifunction testing of AT 286
through Pentium systems (including the new Pentium III and
Celeron, Cyrix M2 and AMD K5, K6, K6-3D, K7 processors, including
MMX technology). The card provides users with visual digital
indicators for identifying POST error codes, monitoring power
supply voltages and system bus signals, and detecting IRQ
and DMA conflicts. Further, the card has an "onboard"
Flash ROM for testing system peripherals.
The ROM automatically
loads after the successful completion of POST. Some of the
tests that are performed: Base, Extended and Cache Memory,
Hard/Floppy/EIDE CD ROM drives, Serial/Parallel Ports, Keyboard,
CMOS RAM & RTC, Video Cards, I/O Port Monitor, System
Configuration, Extensive Burn-In, and more. All diagnostics
are run from ROM. No disks are needed.
