Overview
The Shinobi removes unknown passwords from locked hard drives in under 2 minutes. It is a groundbreaking product for the Forensic Computer Investigation and Data Recovery Industries because it saves the need for heavy data recovery work when dealing with hard drives locked by ATA (platter level) passwords. The automatic unlock function works for all hard drives listed in our compatibility list. For other hard drive models, the Shinobi provides a Dictionary Attack/Brute Force option for PW cracking.

- Built-in Write Block Feature for Data Recovery and Forensic Investigation
(Full write protection ensures that hard drive data will not be altered during hard drive lock or unlock procedure)

(All PIO/UDMA Modes and Serial ATA Modes. Adapters needed for certain Hard Drive types)
- Secure Hard Drive Lock functions for data security. Nothing can unlock the drive except another Shinobi!
(Input any password up to 32 characters. Run password through MD5 Hash algorithm for extra security)
- Automatic Unlock Function for instant password removal (unknown ATA passwords)
(This function only works for hard drives listed on our Compatibility List)
- Brute Force / Dictionary Attack password removal methods for hard drives not supported for automatic unlock
(Create custom dictionaries. Import dictionaries from any source. Attempts approx. 12,000 passwords per hour)
- Fast and easy methods for Removing Known Passwords from locked hard drives
(Instantly removes known passwords without waiting or restarting computer. Hard drive becomes instantly accessible)
- Removes Any Type of Hard Drive Level Password whether locked by Shinobi, PC BIOS or Manufacturer
(Includes manufacturer imposed security lock from removing hard drive from PC casing)
- Hard Drive Test functions to determine password security level and health status of hard drive
(Lists all data in easy to read format and stores data for recording and archiving)
- Hard Drive Erase function for secure data destruction 1 time overwrite of each Hard Drive sector)
(Executes manufacturer’s default security erase method. Must disable write protection before executing Erase command)
