LanMaster 35 |
The new LanMaster 35 Power and Link Tester is the first full featured PoE (Power over Ethernet) and 10/100/1000BaseTX Link tester.
LanMaster 35 features PoE measurement with actual loads to verify required power is available before connecting a powered device such as a VoIP phone or wireless access point. The unit identifies the power configuration as End-span, Mid-span or All-span and the type of power as IEEE 802.3af, Cisco Pre-Standard or Non-Standard. A Link resistance measurement feature helps to identify cabling problems.
LanMaster 35 also tests 10/100/1000 BaseTX Links providing the speed and duplex mode for the Link. In addition, the tester includes Tone Generation for cable tracing, TDR length measurement, and Port Identification to provide a complete suite of LAN test functions.
LanMaster 35 provides essential PoE and Link testing capabilities in a low cost handheld tester. The optional CableTracker 15 Tone Tracing Probe works with the LanMaster 35 Tone Generator feature to trace cables or locate connected punchdowns.
Features
- Tests network cable pairs for Power over Ethernet (PoE)
- Identifies the power type as IEEE 802.3af, Cisco Inline or Non-Standard
- Makes power measurements with loads simulating actual powered devices
- Displays voltage and polarity for wire pairs and power configuration as End-span, Mid-span or All-span
- Identifies damaged cables and bad punchdowns by measuring Link Resistance
- Detects 10/100/1000 BaseTX Link speed and duplex mode
- Measures cable length and open or short conditions
- Provides Port ID function (link light activation) for identifying connected ports
- Applies a tone signal for tracing cables with the CT15 CableTracker Tone Probe

LanMaster30 |
Testing unused outlets can identify telephone lines and hub/switch ports available for reassignment. The LANMASTER 30 is an essential tool for maintaining networks containing both Ethernet and Token Ringdevices. Standard Ethernet or Fast Ethernet Links are identified and equipment support for 10/100 Auto-negotiation is displayed.
Token Ring testing includes insertion into the ring and measuring required current levels. Telecom systems and LANs can now be supported with a single tool.
Protect Equipment from Damage by Testing Outlet before Connecting a Device
- Verify Connectivity to Far-End Equipment
- Identify Type of LAN Connection
- Ethernet, Fast Ethernet or Token Ring
- Identify Type of Telecom Connection
- Analog, PBX or ISDN
- Locate Unused/Disconnected Outlets
- Provides Installers and Maintainers a tool to quickly test that an outlet is live and identify the type of telecom or LAN equipment connected to the outlet. Connecting equipment to an unknown outlet can damage the installed device due to incompatible voltage and current levels. The
- Model 30 reduces time spent on Moves, Adds and Changes (MACs) by verifying physical layer connectivity to the far-end equipment.

LanMaster 26 |
The most advanced Link Tester available, the new LanMaster 26 features Gigabit over copper Link testing capability and VoIP/PoE detection. The Model 26 even measures the voltage supplied by the VoIP or PoE port with typical loading to ensure that the voltage level is adequate. After verifying correct power is available, the LanMaster 26 tests a VoIP or PoE port to determine the speed and duplex mode. The Port ID feature identifies which port on a hub or switch that a wall outlet is connected by flashing the Link light on the connected port. The LanMaster 26 provides critical network connectivity and configuration information needed to maintain and troubleshoot a LAN at an affordable price.
- Verifies Connectivity for 10/100/1000 BaseTX Links
- Identifies VoIP (Voice over IP) and PoE (Power over Ethernet) Ports
- Measures Port Voltage to Ensure Proper Voltage Level and warns of low voltage levels
- Identifies Speed, Duplex Mode and Auto-negotiation for
- 10/100/1000/VoIP/PoE Ports
- Provides Port Identification Function (Link Light Activation)
- Identifies Connection as LAN, NIC or Auto Crossover
