- 4 Digit
Indicators for Every P.O.S.T. Code Error
- This test card
provide the user with a 4 digit display for
identifying every P.O.S.T. error code. At power-on,
the system ROM BIOS (Basic Input Output System) software
executes its POST (Power-on Self-Test). Just before
running each test, POST sends a test number code to
an output test port monitored by the PC ANALYZER POST CARD. If the
computer hangs during POST, the failing test number
appears on the two-digit hexadecimal display of the
PC ANALYZER POST CARD. You look up the meaning of the failing code
in the supplied manual to determine which card or circuit
is bad in the system for a quick easy repair.
- P.O.S.T. Code Error Memory
- This PRO version has a 48 POST code memory that not only shows you the current code but also the previous 47 codes giving more precise diagnosis on difficult motherboards. The onboard micro switch allows you to step backward and forward at will!
- PCI BUS Speed Indicator - The 4 digit display will show a digital indication of the PCI bus speed, allowing you to compare the performance and settings of motherboards.

Power Supply Voltages - New advanced circuitry offers precision system
power voltage monitoring to help you ensure that a system’s
power supply is operating correctly and outputting the
proper voltages. Quickly
find out if PCI and AGP power supply voltage conditions
are "out of spec." 4 LEDs (Light Emitting
Diodes) immediately show whether power is reaching the
board. The separate LEDs continuously show you the status
of each system power voltage, alerting you if a particular
voltage fails for any reason.

The PC ANALYZER POST CARD features 4 LEDs (Light Emitting
Diodes) to show the status of the CLK & OSC, BIOS read/IRDY and RST, signals. You are immediately alerted to any failures of these important signals.

The PC ANALYZER POST CARD has an onboard sounder for connection to the motherboard's speaker connectors. This allows you hear any POST beeps when testing motherboards on the bench without a system case.
